Good news: if you’re currently laying around and not producing anything, you are a credit to your species.
It’s recently been found that even hive insects rest. Bees will play with colorful toys. Ants sleep for about 1 minute but they do it so frequently it amounts to a few hours per day. Even trees take breaks.
The only things that work without rest are machines; literally everything that lives requires rest.
EVERYTHING THAT LIVES REQUIRES REST. STOP JUDGING YOURSELF FOR NOT BEING A ROBOT.
And even machines need to rest all the time. Even unfeeling blobs of steel need maintenance, upkeep, and care. They need to be turned of every now and then to cool down.
i have seen this post on my dash 7 times now and every time i think more loudly, ‘this is what Batman villain The Penguin’s dialogue sounds like when they let him be fun to watch.’
So I am treating myself to a day at Dashcon. Thing is I can only go one day and both Friday/Saturday have really cool things planned. Which day should I go? Please help me out.

Group of friends who are close because they all have the same superpower except no they don’t.
As in, they all think the other ones have the same superpower as them, but, in fact, they do not.

Time traveler who always is running into these other people who seem to know what’s going on or what will happen and is so happy he can finally share his travel stories.
Precognitive who is relieved he isn’t the only one with the gift and who is glad to get help averting future disasters.
Mind reader with a horrible memory who tries to stay on top of things by skimming surface thoughts. You want to talk about next week’s election results and how they changed the next decade? She’s with you.
Totally normal guy who thinks the others have the absolute best bit ever and loves playing along.
They save the world at least twice without a single clue shared between the four of them.
